Integration of a device platform with a core network or a multiaccess edge computing environment

A system, comprising:

• a processor;
• and
• a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, facilitate performance of operations, comprising:
• establishing a packet data protocol context and a packet data network connection between a user equipment and core network equipment via a configured access point name associated with the core network equipment, wherein the core network equipment receives information communicated by the user equipment;
• determining whether the information satisfies a defined threshold value relating to a service associated with the information based on a first result of analyzing the information and an information management criterion relating to information communications associated with the service, wherein the defined threshold value is specified by the information management criterion;
• and
• determining whether to communicate the information to a device associated with the service via network equipment, based on a second result of the determining whether the information satisfies the defined threshold value relating to the service, wherein the network equipment is part of a communication network different from a core network that comprises the core network equipment.

A non-transitory machine-readable medium, comprising executable instructions that, when executed by a processor, facilitate performance of operations, comprising:

• establishing a packet data protocol context and a packet data network connection between a first device and a gateway device, which is part of a core network, via a configured access point name associated with the gateway device, wherein the gateway device receives data communicated by the first device;
• determining whether the data satisfies a defined threshold value relating to an application associated with the data based on a first result of evaluating the data and a data management criterion relating to data communications associated with the application, wherein the application is associated with a second device, and wherein the defined threshold value is related to the data management criterion;
• and
• determining whether to communicate the data to the second device associated with network equipment, which is not part of the core network, based on a second result of the determining whether the data satisfies the defined threshold value relating to the application.
