Systems and methods for non-destructive testing online stores

A non-transitory computer readable medium comprising executable instructions which, when executed by a data processor of a non-destructive testing device, cause the data processor to perform operations including:

• receiving data characterizing digital content from a repository of digital content;
• receiving data characterizing a right to use the digital content from a store configured to sell a right to use the digital content to a customer associated with the non-destructive testing device;
• performing an inspection of machinery using the non-destructive testing device based on the digital content and the received right to use the digital content, wherein the inspection is performed by one or more of executing, using, and displaying the digital content;
• detecting a change in the digital content;
• and
• performing, automatically and without user intervention, a synchronization operation responsive to the change.

A system comprising:

• a repository of digital content;
• a store configured to sell a right to use the digital content to a customer associated with a non-destructive testing device;
• the non-destructive testing device including a data processor, the non-destructive testing device configured to perform operations including:
• receiving data characterizing digital content from the repository, wherein the digital content is executable, non-executable digital content, or a combination thereof,
• receiving data characterizing a right to use the digital content from the store,
• performing an inspection of machinery based on the digital content and the received right to use the digital content, wherein the inspection is performed by one or more of executing, using, and displaying the digital content;
• detecting a change in the digital content;
• and
• performing, automatically and without user intervention, a synchronization operation responsive to the change.
