Abstract
The present invention relates to an electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery, comprising an organic solvent, a lithium salt and a compound of Chemical Formula 1, wherein the compound of Chemical Formula 1 is contained in an amount of 0.001 wt % or more and less than 0.1 wt %. In Chemical Formula 1, n is one of the integers 3 to 10.

An electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery, wherein a positive active material of the lithium secondary battery includes lithium and cobalt, the electrolyte comprising:
- an organic solvent, a lithium salt, and a compound of Chemical Formula 1,
- wherein the organic solvent comprises a combination of a carbonate based solvent and an ester based solvent,
- wherein the compound of Chemical Formula 1 is contained in an amount of 0.001 wt % or more and less than 0.03 wt %:
- wherein, in Chemical Formula 1
- n is one of the integers 3 to 10.
An electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery, wherein a positive active material of the lithium secondary battery includes lithium and cobalt, the electrolyte comprising:
- an organic solvent, a lithium salt, and a compound of Chemical Formula 1,
- wherein the organic solvent comprises a combination of a carbonate based solvent and an ester based solvent,
- wherein the compound of Chemical Formula 1 is contained in an amount of 0.001 wt % or more and less than 0.08 wt %:
- wherein, in Chemical Formula 1, n is an integer of 4 to 10.
