Abstract
Some embodiments of the disclosure provide for a lighting system including a substrate. The lighting system includes several blue light emitting diodes (LEDs) supported by the substrate. The lighting system includes at least one red LED supported by the substrate. The lighting system includes a light conversion material covering the blue LEDs and the at least one red LED.

A lighting system, comprising:
- a substrate;
- a first string of light emitting diodes (LEDs) supported by the substrate, the first string of LEDs comprising a first set of LEDs configured to emit light having a first color and a second set of LEDs configured to emit light having a second color, and at least one LED of the first set of LEDs connected in series with at least one LED of the second set of LEDs;
- a second string of LEDs supported by the substrate, the second string of LEDs comprising a third set of LEDs configured to emit light having the first color and a fourth set of LEDs configured to emit light having the second color, with the second string of LEDs configured to be electrically parallel to the first string of LEDs;
- and
- a light conversion material covering at least a portion of the first string of LEDs and at least a portion of the second string of LEDs,
- wherein LEDs configured to emit light having the first color are disposed around an outer periphery of the substrate.

A lighting system, comprising:
- a substrate;
- a first string of light emitting diodes (LEDs) supported by the substrate, the first string of LEDs comprising a first set of LEDs configured to emit light having a first color and a second set of LEDs configured to emit light having a second color;
- a second string of LEDs supported by the substrate, the second string of LEDs comprising a third set of LEDs configured to emit light having the first color and a fourth set of LEDs configured to emit light having the second color, with the second string of LEDs being connected in parallel to the first string of LEDs,
- wherein at least one LED of the first string of LEDs configured to emit light having the second color and at least one LED of the second string of LEDs configured to emit light having the second color are disposed around an outer periphery of the substrate to surround at least one of an LED of the first string of LEDs configured to emit light having the second color set of LEDs or an LED of the second string of LEDs configured to emit light having the second color,
- wherein LEDs configured to emit light having the second color are disposed around an outer periphery of the substrate.
