- identifying, by the application, a characteristic of the audio data;
- generating, by the application, an Internet browser cookie based on the characteristic of the audio data;
- and
- determining an available Internet browser to link the Internet browser cookie to based on any of:
- an Internet browser with a highest measured data use of browsers installed on the device;
- or
- an Internet browser with a highest measured battery usage of browsers installed on the device.
An endpoint device comprising:
- a listening apparatus configured to receive audio data played locally by a device;
- and
- a memory including instructions that when executed cause the endpoint device to:
- identify a characteristic of the audio data;
- generate an Internet browser cookie based on the characteristic of the audio data;
- and
- determine an available Internet browser to link the Internet browser cookie to based on any of:
- an Internet browser with a highest measured data use of browsers installed on the endpoint device;
- and
- an Internet browser with a highest measured battery usage of browsers installed on the endpoint device.
A non-transitory computer readable storage medium comprising computer instructions comprising:
- activating a listening mode of a device;
- collecting, by the device, audio input;
