Separately collecting and storing form contents

An apparatus comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the apparatus to:
• capture, using a camera of the apparatus, at least a portion of a form comprising a plurality of fields to be filled out by a user;
• acquire, from a forms database, and based on the at least the portion of the form, data corresponding to the form;
• provide, to the user, an extended reality (XR) environment;
• display, in the XR environment, a representation of the form;
• collect, from the user during a form-filling occasion, form content requested by the plurality of fields to be filled out by the user at least by:
• receiving, from the user, via a first input method in the XR environment, and based on one or more first fields of the plurality of fields requesting private information, first data indicating the private information requested by at least one of the one or more first fields to be filled out by the user;
• and
• receiving, from the user, via a second input method outside of the XR environment, and based on one or more second fields of the plurality of fields requesting non-private information, second data indicating the non-private information requested by at least one of the one or more second fields to be filled out by the user;
• store, based on the first data indicating private information and after encrypting the first data with a first encryption standard, the first data in a first database;
• store, based on the second data indicating non-private information and without encrypting with the first encryption standard, the second data in a second database;
• and
• prompt the user to destroy the form.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the processors to:

• capture, using a camera, at least a portion of a form comprising a plurality of fields to be filled out by a user;
• acquire, from a forms database and based on the at least the portion of the form, data corresponding to the form;
• provide, to the user, an extended reality (XR) environment;
• display, in the XR environment, a representation of the form;
• collect, from the user during a form-filling occasion, for content requested by the plurality of fields to be filled out by the user at least by:
• receiving, from the user, via a first input method in the XR environment, and based on one or more first fields of the plurality of fields requesting private information, first data indicating the private information requested by at least one of the one or more first fields to be filled out by the user;
• and
• receiving, from the user, via a second input method outside of the XR environment, and based on one or more second fields of the plurality of fields requesting non-private information, second data indicating the non-private information requested by at least one of the one or more second fields to be filled out by the user;
• store, based on the first data indicating private information and using a first security protocol, the first data in a first database;
• store, based on the second data indicating non-private information and using a second security protocol, the second data in a second database;
• obscure, based on the first data indicating private information, the first data on the representation of the form;
• and
• display, after receiving a request from the user to view the stored first data, the first data on the representation of the form.
