Abstract
A method of treating a T-cell mediated disease in a subject by administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of an antibody or fragment thereof that specifically binds to CD6 is described. Humanized antibodies useful for the method are also described.
Claims18
A humanized antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof having binding specificity for CD6, wherein the antigen-binding fragment is selected from the group consisting of Fab2, Fab4, and Fab6.
A humanized antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof having binding specificity for CD6, wherein the humanized antibody or antigen-binding fragment comprises:
- (i) a heavy chain comprising SEQ ID NO:
- 1 and a light chain comprising SEQ ID NO 2;
- (ii) a heavy chain comprising SEQ ID NO:
- 3 and a light chain comprising SEQ ID NO:
- 4;
- or
- (iii) a heavy chain comprising SEQ ID NO:
- 5 and a light chain comprising SEQ ID NO:
- 6.
A kit comprising a humanized antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof that specifically binds to CD6 wherein the humanized antibody or antigen-binding fragment comprises:
- (i) a heavy chain comprising SEQ ID NO:
- 1 and a light chain comprising SEQ ID NO 2;
- (ii) a heavy chain comprising SEQ ID NO:
- 3 and a light chain comprising SEQ ID NO:
- 4;
- or
- (iii) a heavy chain comprising SEQ ID NO:
- 5 and a light chain comprising SEQ ID NO:
- 6;
- and a package for holding the humanized antibody or antigen-binding fragment.
