Systems and methods for dispensing consumable products

A device, comprising:

• at least one memory storing computer-executable instructions;
• and
• at least one processor communicatively coupled to the at least one and configured to access the at least one memory and execute the computer-executable instructions to:
• receive beverage selection data;
• cause a beverage dispenser to dispense a beverage corresponding to the beverage selection data;
• generate a beverage composition record for the beverage that was formulated via an ingredient matrix and dispensed at the beverage dispenser, wherein the ingredient matrix comprises multiple ingredient packages each comprising a beverage ingredient, the beverage composition record corresponding to the beverage selection data;
• and
• write depletion data to the ingredient package or a data processing device associated with the ingredient package for each ingredient package from which a beverage ingredient was included in the dispensed beverage, wherein the depletion data is based at least in part on the beverage composition record.

A beverage dispensing system, comprising:

• at least one memory storing computer-executable instructions;
• an ingredient matrix comprising multiple ingredient packages each comprising a beverage ingredient;
• a dispenser;
• a user interface to receive beverage selection input;
• and
• a controller in communication with the user interface, wherein the controller is configured to:
• receive the beverage selection input;
• cause the dispenser to dispense a beverage corresponding to the beverage selection input;
• generate a beverage composition record for a beverage that is formulated via the ingredient matrix and dispensed at the dispenser responsive to the beverage selection input, the beverage composition record corresponding to the beverage selection data;
• and
• for each ingredient package from which a beverage ingredient is included in a dispensed beverage, cause depletion data to be written to the ingredient package or a data processing device associated with the ingredient package based at least in part on the beverage composition record generated for the dispensed beverage.
