A surface treatment apparatus may include a first agitator, a second agitator, and a drive system configured to cause the second agitator to rotate concurrently with the first agitator, the drive system including at least a first magnetic gear and a second magnetic gear.

A surface treatment apparatus comprising:
- a first agitator;
- a second agitator;
- and
- a drive system configured to cause the second agitator to rotate concurrently with the first agitator, the drive system including:
- at least a first magnetic gear and a second magnetic gear;
- and
- a temporary magnet disposed between the first magnetic gear and the second magnetic gear.

- a first agitator;

- a first magnetic gear coupled to the first agitator;
