Distributed production method

A method for distributive processing, the method comprising:

• informing one or more remote processing locations of an available order to be filled, wherein each remote processing location comprises a light guided system;
• receiving from one or more of the remote processing locations responses to the said informing of the available order;
• selecting one or more of the remote processing locations that responded to perform operations using the light guided system at the selected remote processing location and providing notification to the selected one or more of the remote processing locations of the selection;
• providing materials on which the operations are to be performed at each of the said selected one or more remote processing locations;
• providing work instructions at each of the said selected one or more remote processing locations, wherein the work instructions enable a light guided system of the selected remote processing location to guide an individual to perform the operations on the materials by operational steps;
• wherein the operations to be performed comprise providing one or more of a product for the order in which the product requires processing, and
• wherein said providing materials on which the operations are to be performed at each of the said selected one or more remote processing locations comprises providing raw components for processing into the product at the selected remote processing location;
• and
• wherein the work instructions provided at each of the said selected one or more remote processing locations enable the light guided system of the selected remote processing location to guide an individual processing the raw components into the product by operational steps.
