Abstract
A sealing method for sealing an opening of a metallic molded body with a resin molded body, the metallic molded body having a cavity therein and an opening connected to the cavity, includes a step of irradiating laser light onto a joining surface on a periphery of the opening of the metallic molded body in an energy density of 1 MW/cm2 or more and at an irradiation rate of 2000 mm/sec or more to roughen the surface, and a step of placing, in a mold, a portion including the joining surface of the metallic molded body roughened in the preceding step and sealing the opening with a resin molded body formed by injection molding or compression molding of a resin.
Claims13
A sealing method for sealing a metallic molded body with a resin molded body, the metallic molded body having a cavity therein, the cavity opening through a joining surface of the metallic molded body at at least one opening such that the at least one opening through the joining surface is directly connected to the cavity, the method comprising:
- a step of irradiating laser light onto the joining surface on a periphery of the at least one opening of the metallic molded body in an energy density of 1 MW/cm2 or more and at an irradiation rate of 2000 mm/sec or more to roughen the joining surface on the periphery of the at least one opening of the metallic molded body;
- and
- a step of placing, in a mold, a portion of the metallic molded body including the joining surface on the periphery of the at least one opening roughened in the preceding step, and sealing the at least one opening with thee, resin molded body formed by injection molding or compression molding of a resin;
- wherein the roughened joining surface on the periphery of the at least one opening of the metallic molded body has a porous structure in which a hole is formed in a range of an average depth from 10 to 70 μm.
A sealing method for joining a first metallic molded body and at least one second metallic molded body with a resin molded body, the first metallic molded body having a cavity therein and at least one opening connected to the cavity, the method comprising:
- a step of irradiating laser light onto a surface of each at least one opening to serve as a first joining surface of the first metallic molded body and onto a portion of each at least one second metallic molded body to serve as a second joining surface of the at least one second metallic molded body, the step of irradiating the laser light being at an energy density of 1 MW/cm2 or more and at an irradiation rate of 2000 mm/sec or more to roughen the joining surfaces, and
- a step of placing each roughened joining surface of the at least one second metallic molded body in the at least one opening of the first metallic molded body, and sealing a connecting portion between the first metallic molded body and the at least one second metallic molded body with the resin molded body formed by injection molding or compression molding of a resin;
- wherein the roughened joining surfaces have a porous structure in which a hole is formed in a range of an average depth from 10 to 70 μm.
A sealing method for joining a plurality of metallic pipes together with a resin molded body, each of the metallic pipes having a cavity therein and an opening connected to the cavity, the method comprising:
- a step of irradiating laser light onto outer joining surfaces of connecting portions of openings of the plurality of metallic pipes to roughen the outer joining surfaces, the step of irradiating the laser light being at an energy density of 1 MW/cm2 or more and at an irradiation rate of 2000 mm/sec or more to roughen the outer joining surfaces, and
- a step of placing, in a mold, the roughened connecting portions of the metallic pipes and sealing, from outside, the connecting portions together with the resin molded body formed by injection molding or compression molding of a resin;
- wherein the roughened joining surfaces of the metallic molded pipes have a porous structure in which a hole is formed in a range of an average depth from 10 to 70 μm.
