Abstract
An apparatus includes a fluidic coupler including an opening. A first port is in fluid communication with the opening and is to interface with an inlet of a flow cell of a sensor device. A second port is to interface with an outlet of the flow cell of the sensor device. A third port is in fluidic communication with the second port. The apparatus further includes a mechanical assembly moveable between a first position and a second position. The fluidic coupler is secured to the flow cell of the sensor device in the first position. The fluidic coupler is disengaged from the flow cell of the sensor device in the second position.
Claims14
An apparatus comprising:
- a fluidic coupler including an opening, a first port in fluid communication with the opening and to interface with an inlet of a flow cell of a sensor device, a second port to interface with an outlet of the flow cell of the sensor device, and a third port in fluidic communication with the second port;
- and
- a mechanical assembly moveable between a first position and a second position, the fluidic coupler secured to the flow cell of the sensor device in the first position, the fluidic coupler disengaged from the flow cell of the sensor device in the second position, wherein the mechanical assembly includes a clutch connecting the drive mechanism to the frame, wherein the clutch includes a nut and a set of springs and pins coupling the nut to the frame.
An apparatus comprising:
- a fluidic coupler to engage a plurality of flow cells of a sensor device, the fluidics coupler including a plurality of fluidics interfaces, each fluidic interface of the plurality of fluidics interfaces includes an opening, a first port in fluid communication with the opening, a second port, and a third port in fluidic communication with the second port;
- and
- a mechanical assembly to move a frame between a first position and a second position, the frame engaged with the fluidic coupler and securing the fluidic coupler to the sensor device in the first position, the fluidic coupler removeable from the mechanical assembly body in the second position, wherein the mechanical assembly includes a clutch connecting the drive mechanism to the frame, wherein the clutch includes a nut and a set of springs and pins coupling the nut to the frame.
