A non-transitory computer readable storage medium comprising instructions executable by one or more processors, the instructions configured to cause the one or more processors to:

• at an electronic sideline marker comprising a first display configured to display an indication of a down, a second display configured to display one or more timers, and one or more processors:
• display, on the second display, a first timer;
• and
• in accordance with detecting a first input:
• cease to display the first timer and display a second timer;
• and
• transmit a first signal to one or more passive electronic sideline markers, wherein the first signal includes instructions for controlling one or more displays on the one or more passive electronic sideline markers.

A method for displaying timers for use in football, the method comprising:

• at an electronic sideline marker comprising a first display configured to display an indication of a down, a second display configured to display one or more timers, and one or more processors:
• displaying, on the second display, a first timer;
• and
• in accordance with detecting a first input:
• ceasing to display the first timer and display a second timer;
• and
• transmitting a first signal to one or more passive electronic sideline markers, wherein the first signal includes instructions for controlling one or more displays on the one or more passive electronic sideline markers.

An electronic flag football equipment set comprising:

• a primary electronic sideline marker and one or more secondary electronic sideline markers, wherein the primary electronic sideline marker comprises:
• a first display configured to display an indication of a down;
• a second display configured to display one or more timers;
• one or more processors;
• and
• memory storing instructions executable by the one or more processors to cause:
• displaying, on the second display, a first timer;
• and
• in accordance with detecting a first input:
• ceasing to display a first timer and displaying a second timer;
• and
• transmitting a signal to one or more passive electronic sideline markers, wherein the output signal includes instructions for controlling one or more displays on the one or more secondary electronic sideline markers.
