An article of manufacture, comprising an outer surface coupled to a polymer prepared from the free radical polymerization of:
- at least one first monomer selected from alkoxyalkylacrylates or (tetrahydrofuran-2-yl)methyl acrylate;
- and
- at least one second monomer selected from silane containing monomers.
