A novel maize variety designated X00R808 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X00R808 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X00R808 through backcrossing or genetic transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are described. Maize variety X00R808, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X00R808 are provided. Methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X00R808 and methods of using maize variety X00R808 are disclosed.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X00R808, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH48PW with a second plant of variety 1PEUP12, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH48PW and 1PEUP12 have been deposited under NCMA Accession Nos. 202004017 and 202205172, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X00R808 further comprising a single locus conversion, wherein a plant grown from the seed comprises a trait conferred by the single locus conversion, and wherein the seed is produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH48PW with a second plant of variety 1PEUP12, wherein the first plant, the second plant or both further comprise the single locus conversion, and wherein representative seed of the varieties PH48PW and 1PEUP12 have been deposited under NCMA Accession Nos. 202004017 and 202205172, respectively.
A method for producing a hybrid maize variety X00R808 seed further comprising a locus conversion, the method comprising crossing a first plant of variety PH48PW with a second plant of variety 1PEUP12, representative seed of the varieties PH48PW and 1PEUP12 having been deposited under NCMA Accession Nos. 202004017 and 202205172, respectively, wherein at least one of the varieties PH48PW and 1PEUP12 further comprises the locus conversion.
