A novel maize variety designated X03R618CYFR and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X03R618CYFR with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X03R618CYFR through backcrossing or genetic transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are described. Maize variety X03R618CYFR, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X03R618CYFR are provided. Methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X03R618CYFR and methods of using maize variety X03R618CYFR are disclosed.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X03R618CYFR, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety 1PNCU10 with a second plant of variety 1PVPL29, wherein representative seed of the varieties 1PNCU10 and 1PVPL29 have been deposited under NCMA Accession Numbers 202211022 and 202211012, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X03R618CYFR further comprising a single locus conversion, wherein a plant grown from the seed comprises a trait conferred by the single locus conversion, and wherein the seed is produced by crossing a first plant of variety 1PNCU10 with a second plant of variety 1PVPL29, wherein the first plant, the second plant or both further comprise the single locus conversion, and wherein representative seed of the varieties 1PNCU10 and 1PVPL29 have been deposited under NCMA Accession Numbers 202211022 and 202211012, respectively.
A method for producing a hybrid maize variety X03R618CYFR seed further comprising a locus conversion, the method comprising crossing a first plant of variety 1PNCU10 with a second plant of variety 1PVPL29, representative seed of the varieties 1PNCU10 and 1PVPL29 having been deposited under NCMA Accession Numbers 202211022 and 202211012, respectively, wherein at least one of the varieties 1PNCU10 and 1PVPL29 further comprises the locus conversion.
