Abstract
A novel maize variety designated X05R362 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X05R362 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X05R362 through backcrossing or genetic transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are described. Maize variety X05R362, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X05R362 are provided. Methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X05R362 and methods of using maize variety X05R362 are disclosed.
Claims20
A seed of hybrid maize variety X05R362, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety 1PVBZ74 with a second plant of variety PH47A5, wherein representative seed of the varieties 1PVBZ74 and PH47A5 have been deposited under NCMA Accession Numbers 202205183 and 202004019, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X05R362 further comprising a single locus conversion, wherein a plant grown from the seed comprises a trait conferred by the single locus conversion, and wherein the seed is produced by crossing a first plant of variety 1PVBZ74 with a second plant of variety PH47A5, wherein the first plant, the second plant or both further comprise the single locus conversion, and wherein representative seed of the varieties 1PVBZ74 and PH47A5 have been deposited under NCMA Accession Numbers 202205183 and 202004019, respectively.
A method for producing a hybrid maize variety X05R362 seed further comprising a locus conversion, the method comprising crossing a first plant of variety 1PVBZ74 with a second plant of variety PH47A5, representative seed of the varieties 1PVBZ74 and PH47A5 having been deposited under NCMA Accession Numbers 202205183 and 202004019 respectively, wherein at least one of the varieties 1PVBZ74 and PH47A5 further comprises the locus conversion.
