Abstract
A novel maize variety designated SLHS06 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are provided. Methods for producing a maize plant comprise crossing maize variety SLHS06 with another maize plant are provided. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into SLHS06 through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are provided. Hybrid maize seed, plants or plant parts are produced by crossing the variety SLHS06 or a locus conversion of SLHS06 with another maize variety.
Claims20
A seed, plant, plant part, or plant cell of inbred maize variety SLHS06, representative seed of the variety having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202209007.
A converted seed, plant, plant part or plant cell of inbred maize variety SLHS06, representative seed of the maize variety SLHS06 having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202209007, wherein the converted seed, plant, plant part or plant cell comprises a locus conversion, and wherein the plant or a plant grown from the converted seed, plant part or plant cell comprises the locus conversion and otherwise comprises all of the physiological and morphological characteristics of maize variety SLHS06 when grown under the same environmental conditions.
An F1 hybrid seed produced by crossing a plant or plant part of inbred maize variety SLHS06, representative seed of the variety having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202209007 with a different maize plant, wherein inbred maize variety SLHS06 further comprises a transgene that is inherited by the seed, wherein the transgene was introduced into inbred maize variety SLHS06 by backcrossing or genetic transformation.
