Abstract
A novel maize variety designated 7SSXL4027 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are provided. Methods for producing a maize plant comprise crossing maize variety 7SSXL4027 with another maize plant are provided. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into 7SSXL4027 through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are provided. Hybrid maize seed, plants or plant parts are produced by crossing the variety 7SSXL4027 or a locus conversion of 7SSXL4027 with another maize variety.
Claims20
A seed, plant, plant part, or plant cell of inbred maize variety 7SSXL4027, representative seed of the variety having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202209006.
A converted seed, plant, plant part or plant cell of inbred maize variety 7SSXL4027, representative seed of the maize variety 7SSXL4027 having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202209006, wherein the converted seed, plant, plant part or plant cell comprises a locus conversion, and wherein the plant or a plant grown from the converted seed, plant part or plant cell comprises the locus conversion and otherwise comprises all of the physiological and morphological characteristics of maize variety 7SSXL4027 when grown under the same environmental conditions.
An F1 hybrid seed produced by crossing a plant or plant part of inbred maize variety 7SSXL4027, representative seed of the variety having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202209006 with a different maize plant, wherein inbred maize variety 7SSXL4027 further comprises a transgene that is inherited by the seed, wherein the transgene was introduced into inbred maize variety 7SSXL4027 by backcrossing or genetic transformation.
