Abstract
This control system is provided with a controller, a controller which is a loopback communication device, a first communication route, and a second communication route. The controller generates and transmits control frames to slave devices. The controller performs loopback communication of the control frames. In the first communication route, multiple slave devices are connected between the controller and the controller using communication cables. In the second communication route, the first controller and the second controller are connected over a communication cable.
Claims4
A control system, comprising:
- a first controller which generates a control frame;
- a second controller which performs loopback communication of the control frame;
- slave devices which are connected between the first controller and the second controller in sequence and to which the control frame is transmitted;
- a first communication route to which the slave devices are connected using a first communication cable between the first controller and the second controller;
- and
- a second communication route to which the first controller and the second controller are directly connected through a second communication cable,
- wherein the first controller includes a first transception part which transmits and receives the control frame to and from the first communication route and the second communication route, and
- the first transception part analyzes the control frame received from the first communication route;
- when the control frame does not pass through one of the slave devices, the first controller loops back the control frame to the first controller, and transmits the control frame to the second communication route to reach the second controller.
A control method executed by a control system that transmits and receives a control frame by a first communication route in which slave devices are connected between a first controller and a second controller using a first communication cable and a second communication route in which the first controller and the second controller are directly connected through a second communication cable, the control method comprising:
- analyzing, by the first controller, the control frame received from the first communication route, wherein when the control frame does not pass through one of the slave devices, the first controller loops back the control frame to the first controller, and transmitting the control frame to the second communication route to reach the second controller.
