Abstract
An example operation includes one or more of determining a distance traveled by a transport using data points from a sensor, determining an error exists with one or more of the data points, correcting the error by the sensor, discarding one or more of the data points when the error is above a threshold or when the error cannot be corrected and determining a minimum reasonable path of the transport using a remaining portion of the data points.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- determining a distance traveled by a transport using data points from a sensor;
- determining an error exists with one or more of the data points;
- correcting the error by the sensor;
- discarding one or more of the data points when the error is above a threshold or when the error cannot be corrected;
- and
- determining a minimum reasonable path of the transport using a remaining portion of the data points.
A system comprising:
- a sensor operatively coupled to a transport;
- and
- an engine control unit operatively coupled to the transport and operatively coupled to the sensor, the engine control unit;
- determines a distance traveled by the transport based on data points from the sensor,
- determines an error exists with one or more of the data points,
- corrects the error by the sensor,
- discards one or more of the data points when the error is above a threshold or when the error cannot be corrected, and
- determines a minimum reasonable path of the transport using a remaining portion of the data points.
A non-transitory computer readable medium comprising instructions, that when read by a processor, cause the processor to perform:
- determining a distance traveled by a transport using data points from a sensor;
- determining an error exists with one or more of the data points;
- correcting the error by the sensor;
- discarding one or more of the data points when the error is above a threshold or when the error cannot be corrected;
- and
- determining a minimum reasonable path of the transport using a remaining portion of the data points.
