Abstract
A heat cycle system is a heat cycle system (1) using a working medium containing hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) that has a double bond in a molecule structure, the heat cycle system (1) having a compressor (10), a high-pressure side heat exchanger (12), a low-pressure side heat exchanger (14), an expansion mechanism (13), and an acid detection means (40) which is disposed in a discharge pipe (21) connecting the compressor (10) and the high-pressure side heat exchanger (12) and which detects acid generated by decomposition of the working medium in a heat cycle.

A heat cycle system, comprising a working medium containing hydrofluoroolefin (HFO), the heat cycle system comprising:
- a compressor;
- a high-pressure side heat exchanger;
- a low-pressure side heat exchanger;
- an expansion mechanism;
- and
- an acid detector to detect acid generated by decomposition of the working medium, the acid detector being provided in a discharge pipe connecting the compressor and the high-pressure side heat exchanger,
- wherein the acid detector comprises a sight glass having an observation window to observe the working medium passing inside the discharge pipe,
- wherein the observation window has a double structure, wherein in the observation window, at least a surface on a side to be in contact with the working medium is formed of glass, wherein a surface of the glass is colored by the presence of acid, and a surface on an opposite side to the side to be in contact with the working medium is formed of an acid-resistant transparent member.
