Abstract
The present disclosure relates to mobile edge computing (MEC) information obtaining methods and apparatus. One example method performed by a first network element includes receiving target reference information from a second network element, and sending, to the second network element, information about a MEC platform corresponding to the target reference information. The target reference information comprises target capability information.
Claims20
A mobile edge computing (MEC) information obtaining method, comprising:
- sending, by a second network element, target reference information to a first network element, wherein the target reference information comprises target capability information;
- receiving, by the first network element, the target reference information;
- determining, by the first network element, a MEC platform corresponding to the target reference information, wherein the MEC platform has a target capability corresponding to the target capability information;
- sending, by the first network element to the second network element, information about the MEC platform corresponding to the target reference information;
- and
- receiving, by the second network element, the information about the MEC platform corresponding to the target reference information.
A mobile edge computing (MEC) information obtaining system, comprising a first network element and a second network element, wherein:
- the second network element is configured to send target reference information to the first network element, wherein the target reference information comprises target capability information;
- the first network element is configured to receive the target reference information, determine a MEC platform corresponding to the target reference information, wherein the MEC platform has a target capability corresponding to the target capability information, and send, to the second network element, information about the MEC platform corresponding to the target reference information;
- and
- the second network element is configured to receive the information about the MEC platform corresponding to the target reference information.
A mobile edge computing (MEC) information obtaining apparatus, wherein the apparatus comprising:
- a memory storing program code;
- and
- at least one processor in communication with the memory, the at least one processor executing the program code to perform operations comprising:
- receiving target reference information from a network element, wherein the target reference information comprises target capability information;
- determining a MEC platform corresponding to the target reference information, wherein the MEC platform has a target capability corresponding to the target capability information;
- and
- sending, to the network element, information about the MEC platform corresponding to the target reference information.
