Digital processing systems and methods for pre-populating templates in a tablature system

A non-transitory computer readable medium containing instructions that when executed by at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform operations for generating a hybrid table-template pre-populated with data pulled from preexisting tables, the operations comprising:

• presenting an interface for defining a hybrid table-template definition, wherein the hybrid table-template definition includes a table format;
• receiving, via the interface, a selection of at least one cell of a preexisting table populated with data;
• generating at least one pre-population rule associating at least one cell of the hybrid table-template with at least one cell of a preexisting table populated with data;
• presenting a board;
• receiving, via the board, a request to generate a new table using the hybrid table-template definition;
• following receipt of the request, generating the new table, wherein generating includes:
• following a link associated with the at least one pre-population rule to access real-time cell data from the preexisting table;
• migrating the real-time cell data to the new table;
• and
• updating the board to present the new table;
• receiving, via the updated board, a request to present the interface for defining the hybrid table-template definition;
• receiving, via the interface, a selection of at least one other cell of a preexisting table populated with data;
• updating the at least one pre-population rule based on the selection of the at least one other cell;
• receiving, via the new table, a request to add a new item to the new table;
• migrating, by following the updated at least one pre-population rule, real-time cell data associated with the at least one other cell to the new item;
• and
• updating the new table to present the new item.

A method for generating a hybrid tablc tcmplatc table-template pre-populated with data pulled from preexisting tables, the method comprising:

• presenting an interface for defining a hybrid table-template definition, wherein the hybrid table-template definition includes a table format;
• receiving, via the interface, a selection of at least one cell of a preexisting table populated with data;
• generating at least one pre-population rule associating at least one cell of the hybrid table-template with at least one cell of a preexisting table populated with data;
• presenting a board;
• receiving, via the board, a request to generate a new table using the hybrid tablc tcmplatc table-template definition;
• following receipt of the request, generating the new table, wherein generating includes:
• following a link associated with the at least one pre-population rule to access real-time cell data from the preexisting table;
• migrating the real-time cell data to the new table;
• and
• updating the board to present the new table;
• receiving, via the updated board, a request to present the interface for defining the hybrid table-template definition;
• receiving, via the interface, a selection of at least one other cell of a preexisting table populated with data;
• updating the at least one pre-population rule based on the selection of the at least one other cell;
• receiving, via the new table, a request to add a new item to the new table;
• migrating, by following the updated at least one pre-population rule, real-time cell data associated with the at least one other cell to the new item;
• and
• updating the new table to present the new item.
