Abstract
A first element and a second element of a same device communicate with each other. The first element sends the second element a first piece of information representative of energy supplied by an electromagnetic field supplying power the device. The second element adapts its operating frequency as a function of the first piece of information.
Claims20
A device, comprising:
- a first element and a second element connected by a communications link;
- wherein the first element includes an energy harvesting circuit configured to harvest energy from an electromagnetic field;
- wherein the second element includes a processing circuit having an operating frequency;
- wherein the first element is configured to transmit a first piece of information over the communications link that is representative of an energy-related power budget that is supplied to the device by said electromagnetic field, said first piece of information being indicative of an intensity of an electrical supply current;
- and
- wherein the second element is configured to adapt the operating frequency as a function of the first piece of information.
