Abstract
An electronic device includes: a display panel having an active area in which a plurality of pixels are disposed and a peripheral area disposed around the active area; a plurality of sensing electrodes disposed in the active area; and a first sensing line connected to one of the plurality of sensing electrodes and including a first portion disposed in the peripheral area, a second portion extending from the first portion and disposed in the active area, and a third portion extending from the second portion and disposed in the peripheral area.
Claims20
An electronic device comprising:
- a display panel having an active area in which a plurality of pixels are disposed and a peripheral area disposed around the active area;
- a plurality of sensing electrodes disposed in the active area;
- and
- a first signal line connected to one of the plurality of sensing electrodes, the first signal line comprising a first portion disposed in the peripheral area, a second portion extending from the first portion and disposed in the active area, and a third portion extending from the second portion and disposed in the peripheral area and spaced apart from the first portion,
- wherein the second portion of the first signal line in the active area is connected between the first portion and the third portion of the first signal line in the peripheral area.
An electronic device comprising:
- a display panel having an active area configured to display an image, a peripheral area disposed around the active area, and a partially curved boundary between the active area and the peripheral area;
- and
- a sensor comprising a plurality of sensing electrodes disposed in the active area and a plurality of signal lines electrically connected to the plurality of sensing electrodes, respectively,
- wherein the plurality of signal lines comprise a first signal line electrically connected to one of the plurality of sensing electrodes, wherein:
- the first signal line comprises a first extension portion disposed in the peripheral area and connected to the one of the plurality of sensing electrodes, a second extension portion disposed in the peripheral area and spaced apart from the first extension portion, and a connection portion disposed in the active area and connected between the first extension portion in the peripheral area and the second extension portion in the peripheral area, and
- the connection portion of the first signal line is spaced apart from the peripheral area by the partially curved boundary therebetween when viewed in plane.
