Electronic device and mode switching method thereof

A mode switching method of an electronic device, comprising:

• an electronic device comprising a first body, a second body, a processing module, a touch display panel, and at least one sensing unit,
• closing the first body and the second body relative to each other;
• detecting, by the at least one sensing unit, that the first body and the second body are closed to each other, such that the processing module is switched to a first mode,
• wherein in the first mode, a first display part and a second display part of the touch display panel are adapted to synchronously display or individually display a first message, a second message, or a third message;
• unfolding the first body and the second body relative to each other;
• and
• detecting, by the at least one sensing unit, that the first body and the second body are unfolded relative to each other, such that the processing module is switched to a second mode,
• wherein in the second mode, the first display part and the second display part of the touch display panel are adapted to operate synchronously or operate individually,
• wherein the at least one sensing unit detects a distance of a user relative to the first body or the second body, when the distance is greater than a predetermined value, at least one of the first display part and the second display part displays the first message, and when the distance is less than the predetermined value, at least one of the first display part and the second display part displays the second message.
