Abstract
Described are compositions and methods for inhibition of Hepatitis B virus gene expression. RNA interference (RNAi) triggers and RNAi trigger conjugates for inhibiting the expression of Hepatitis B virus gene are described. Pharmaceutical compositions comprising one or more HBV RNAi triggers optionally with one or more additional therapeutics are also described. Delivery of the described HBV RNAi triggers to infected liver in vivo provides for inhibition of HBV gene expression and treatment.
Claims25
A method of making a double-stranded ribonucleic acid molecule, comprising annealing an antisense strand and a sense strand, wherein:
- the antisense strand comprises a modified nucleotide sequence according to any one of SEQ ID NOS:
- 222, 230-247, and 260-262;
- and
- the antisense strand is at least partially complementary to the sense strand.
A method of making a double-stranded ribonucleic acid molecule, comprising annealing an antisense strand and a sense strand to make the double-stranded ribonucleic acid molecule, wherein:
- the sense strand comprises a structure according to any one of SEQ ID NOS:
- 449, 458-461, 463, 465, and 467-477;
- and
- the antisense strand is at least partially complementary to the sense strand.
