Abstract
The present invention relates to a system and a method for comparing information contained on at least two documents belonging to an entity. The present invention includes at least one device configured to receive information from at least one first document and at least one second document; then, compare at least one first document information and at least one second document information; and determine whether at least one second document contains at least one first document information. The present invention then outputs a result of whether the at least one second document contains at least one first document information.
Claims19
A system for comparing documents, comprising:
- at least one document reader configured to:
- read a first portion of information from at least one ID document during a transaction;
- read a second portion of information from at least one travel document during the transaction;
- compare the first portion of information and the second portion of information;
- determine whether the first portion of information and the second portion of information contain a match;
- and
- generate a match indication based on the determination.
A system for comparing documents, comprising:
- at least one document reader configured to:
- read a first portion of information from at least one ID document and read a second portion of information from at least one payment account document during a single transaction;
- compare the first portion of information and the second portion of information;
- determine whether the first portion of information and the second portion of information contain a match;
- and
- generate a match indication based on the determination.
