Abstract
A structure suitable for a portable information terminal or a wearable device is provided. In addition, an electronic device having a novel structure that can have various forms is provided. It is preferable that a buffer layer which absorbs a difference in the amount of change in form be provided between adjacent film substrates which overlap with each other. As the buffer layer, a gelled resin material, a rubber resin material, a liquid material, an air layer, or the like can be used. Furthermore, an optical film such as a polarizing film or a color filter may be used as the buffer layer. A plurality of buffer layers may be provided in an electronic device.
Claims3
A semiconductor device comprising:
- a display portion having a touch sensor function;
- a control circuit electrically connected to a flexible substrate;
- and
- a battery;
- a protective film between the display portion and the control circuit;
- and
- a resin as a buffer layer between the protective film and the control circuit,
- wherein the flexible substrate is arranged to be bent from a front surface of the display portion to a back surface of the display portion,
- wherein the protective film is not fixed to the control circuit, and
- wherein the control circuit is configured to slide in a region that the control circuit and the protective film overlap each other.
