Magnetic field detection device

A magnetic field detection device comprising:

• a first plurality of films having a first resistance value that increases upon application of a first magnetic field in a first direction and decreases upon application of a second magnetic field in a second direction opposite to the first direction;
• and
• a second plurality of films,
• the first plurality of films and the second plurality of films each including a first magneto-resistive effect film and a second magneto-resistive effect film, the first magneto-resistive effect film having a first major-axis direction inclined at a first inclination angle relative to the first direction, the second magneto-resistive effect film having a second major-axis direction inclined at a second inclination angle relative to the first direction,
• the following conditional expressions (1) and (2) being satisfied:
• 0°<θ1<90° (1)
• −90°<θ2<0° (2)
• where
• θ1 denotes the first inclination angle of the first major-axis direction relative to the first direction, and
• θ2 denotes the second inclination angle of the second major-axis direction relative to the first direction.
