Base plate for an ostomy appliance and a sensor assembly part for a base plate and a method for manufacturing a base plate and sensor assembly part

A method for manufacturing a base plate for an ostomy appliance, the method comprising:

• providing a top layer including a top layer connection opening;
• providing an electrode assembly comprising a plurality of electrodes, the electrode assembly having a first part and a second part, the first part comprising connection parts of the plurality of electrodes configured for connecting the plurality of electrodes through the top layer connection opening to terminals of a monitor device;
• providing a first adhesive layer comprising one or more water soluble or water swellable hydrocolloids;
• and
• assembling the top layer, the electrode assembly and the first adhesive layer, such that the second part of the electrode assembly is arranged between the first adhesive layer and the top layer and the top layer connection opening is arranged to enable connecting the plurality of electrodes to the terminals of the monitor device.
