Generating consensus feeding appetite forecasts

A non-transitory computer readable medium embodying a set of executable instructions, the set of executable instructions to manipulate at least one processor to:

• receive, at a processing system, a first forecast parameter data set associated with a first feeding parameter, wherein the first feeding parameter includes at least one of image data and hydroacoustic data corresponding to behavior of underwater objects;
• receive, at the processing system, a second forecast parameter data set associated with a second feeding parameter different from the first feeding parameter;
• adaptively weight, based at least in part a data granularity difference between the hydroacoustic data and the second forecast parameter data set, the first feeding parameter with a first weighting factor relative to a second weighting factor for the second feeding parameter;
• and
• output, using a combination of the first forecast parameter data set and the second forecast parameter data set based on the first weight factor and the second weight factor, an aggregated feeding appetite forecast.

A system, comprising:

• a first set of one or more sensors configured to generate a first feeding parameter data set associated with a first feeding parameter, wherein the first feeding parameter includes at least one of image data and hydroacoustic data corresponding to behavior of underwater objects;
• a second set of one or more sensors configured to generate a second feeding parameter data set associated with a second feeding parameter;
• a digital storage medium, encoding instructions executable by a computing device;
• a processor, communicably coupled to the digital storage medium, configured to execute the instructions, wherein the instructions are configured to:
• adaptively weight, based at least in part a data granularity difference between the hydroacoustic data and the second forecast parameter data set, the first feeding parameter with a first weighting factor relative to a second weighting factor for the second feeding parameter;
• and
• output, using a combination of the first forecast parameter data set and the second forecast parameter data set based on the first weight factor and the second weight factor, an aggregated feeding appetite forecast.
