A novel maize variety designated X00P571 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X00P571 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X00P571 through backcrossing or genetic transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are described. Maize variety X00P571, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X00P571 are provided. Methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X00P571 and methods of using maize variety X00P571 are disclosed.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X00P571, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH2FV2 with a second plant of variety PH4DCG, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH2FV2 and PH4DCG have been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-123867 and NCMA Accession Number 202204026, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X00P571, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH2FV2 with a second plant of variety PH4DCG, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH2FV2 and PH4DCG have been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-123867 and NCMA Accession Number 202204026, respectively, further comprising a transgene, wherein the transgene is introduced by backcrossing or genetic transformation into the variety PH2FV2, the variety PH4DCG, or both varieties PH2FV2 and PH4DCG.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X00P571 further comprising a locus conversion, wherein the locus conversion is introduced by backcrossing or genetic transformation, wherein a plant grown from the seed comprises a trait conferred by the locus conversion, and wherein the seed is produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH2FV2 with a second plant of variety PH4DCG, wherein the first plant, the second plant or both further comprise the single locus conversion, and wherein representative seed of the varieties PH2FV2 and PH4DCG have been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-123867 and NCMA Accession Number 202204026, respectively, and wherein the seed produces a plant having otherwise all the physiological and morphological characteristics as maize variety X00P571 when grown under the same environmental conditions.
