Abstract
The present invention relates to a protein variant, a microorganism with enhanced carbon monoxide (CO) availability comprising the variant, and a use thereof.
Claims3
A protein variant having carbon monoxide dehydrogenase activity, wherein the 97th residue from the N-terminus of SEQ ID NO:
- 1, alanine (A), is substituted with a different amino acid, and wherein the different amino acid is selected from the group consisting of aspartic acid (D), glutamic acid (E), lysine (K), arginine (R), histidine (H), tyrosine (Y), asparagine (N), glutamine (Q), tryptophan (W), phenylalanine (P), methionine (M), and proline (P).
