Abstract
Arrangements described herein relate to systems, apparatuses, and methods for a disposable kit containing medical items configured for a medical device including a head cradle to support a head of a subject, the disposable kit includes a container that encloses a head cradle pad configured to be affixed to the head cradle, at least one fiducial marker configured to be disposed on a location at the head of the subject, and at least one enclosure configured to cover a portion of the medical device.

A disposable kit containing medical items to be used with a medical device including a head cradle to support a head of a subject and a head restraint to secure the head of the subject in the head cradle, the disposable kit comprising:
- a container, wherein the container encloses:
- a head cradle pad that is configured to affix to the head cradle, wherein the head cradle pad is in a flat state when being enclosed in the container, the head cradle pad has at least one gap is in the flat state when being enclosed in the container, and the head cradle pad is in a concave state when being affixed to the head cradle;
- at least one fiducial marker to be disposed at a location on the head of the subject;
- and
- a head restraint pad that is configured to affix to the head restraint of the medical device.
A method for making a disposable kit containing medical items configured for a medical device including a head cradle to support a head of a subject and a head restraint to secure the head of the subject in the head cradle, the method comprising:
- assembling a container, wherein the container comprises:
- a head cradle pad that is configured to affix to the head cradle, wherein the head cradle pad is in a flat state when being enclosed in the container, the head cradle pad has at least one gap is in the flat state when being enclosed in the container, and the head cradle pad is in a concave state when being affixed to the head cradle;
- at least one fiducial marker to be disposed on the subject;
- and
- a head restraint pad that is configured to affix to the head restraint of the medical device.
