Abstract
An image forming apparatus includes plural image forming units and a controller. The plural image forming units are configured to form images of colors using colorants, respectively. The controller is configured to perform control such that the plural images formed by the plural image forming units are output as one image onto a recording medium. At least two of the image forming units are configured to form images using colorants of special colors, respectively and are arranged in succession.
Claims15
An image forming apparatus comprising:
- a plurality of image forming units configured to form images of colors using colorants, respectively;
- and
- a controller configured to perform control such that the images formed by the plurality of image forming units are output as one image on a recording medium, wherein
- at least two of the image forming units are configured to form images using colorants of a same special color and are arranged in succession to form different layers of the same special color, and
- the controller is configured to control the at least two of the image forming units to form the different layers of the same special color on top of one another.
An image forming apparatus comprising:
- plural image forming means for forming images of colors using colorants, respectively;
- and
- control means for performing control such that the images formed by the plural image forming means are output as one image on a recording medium, wherein
- at least two of the plural image forming means are configured to form images using colorants of a same special color and are arranged in succession to form different layers of the same special color, and
- the control means controls the at least two of the image forming units to form the different layers of the same special color on top of one another.
