Abstract
Concealment assemblies for fire protection sprinklers. The concealment assembly includes a cover member having an external surface with a base coating of uniformly applied polymer. One or more different polymer coatings are disposed in a discontinuous manner over the base polymer to provide a visual contrast and form desired indicia.
Claims7
A method of concealed fire protection comprising:
- obtaining a concealment sub-assembly having a cover member defining an external surface, the external surface including a base layer of a first polymer covering the external surface;
- and
- providing indicia on the external surface, the indicia being a second polymer different than the first polymer disposed in a discontinuous layer on the base layer.
