Abstract
Systems and methods for a software development architecture enabling users to locally test and develop software, can include using a multitude of remote devices of choice. The user can choose the remote devices, including the hardware and software on the remote device. The operator of the architecture can provide error analysis, without substantively inspecting the user's software calls and sensitive data. In some embodiments, traffic routing data is used to detect the source and type of a test session error, without inspecting the payload in the traffic.
Claims20
A method of providing a remote-enabled local test session of a user application, the user application executable in a user test network, comprising one or more user servers, executing the user application in the user test network, the method utilizing a remote infrastructure enabling remote testing of the user application, the method comprising:
- providing a remote-enabled local (REL) application, executable in the user test network;
- providing a plurality of remote terminal devices, each terminal device comprising a separate platform;
- receiving a selection of a terminal device from the user;
- providing a repeater, wherein the repeater is connected to the REL application via a tunneling agent, wherein during a test session, the user application requests are issued from the terminal device to the repeater and via a tunneling connection to the REL application;
- receiving, at the repeater, the request from the terminal device;
- determining, by the repeater, when the request comprises a request to access a public server;
- routing the request, by the repeater, to the public server;
- determining, by the repeater, when the request comprises a request to access a user server in the user test network;
- routing the request, by the repeater, to the REL application;
- routing the request, by the REL application, to the user server in the user test network;
- and
- determining an error in the test session using data from the routing steps.
A system of remote-enabled local test session of a user application, the user application executable in a user test network, comprising one or more user servers, executing the user application in the user test network, the system utilizing a remote infrastructure enabling remote testing of the user application, the system further comprising a non-transitory computer storage that stores executable program instructions that, when executed by one or more computing devices, configure the one or more computing devices to perform operations comprising:
- providing a remote-enabled local (REL) application, executable in the user test network;
- providing a plurality of remote terminal devices, each terminal device comprising a separate platform;
- receiving a selection of a terminal device from the user;
- providing a repeater, wherein the repeater is connected to the REL application via a tunneling agent, wherein during a test session, the user application requests are issued from the terminal device to the repeater and via a tunneling connection to the REL application;
- receiving, at the repeater, the request from the terminal device;
- determining, by the repeater, when the request comprises a request to access a public server;
- routing the request, by the repeater, to the public server;
- determining, by the repeater, when the request comprises a request to access a user server in the user test network;
- routing the request, by the repeater, to the REL application;
- routing the request, by the REL application, to the user server in the user test network;
- and
- determining an error in the test session using data from the routing steps.
