Abstract
A housing for a masonry oven core comprises at least two shaped sections, capable of being attached together to form a shape that encompasses a masonry oven core. They are at least partly formed from mesh material capable of being rendered with mortar. The completed housing is substantially semi-spherical, and the wall sections extend substantially vertically.
Claims11
A housing for a masonry oven core, comprising:
- at least two shaped sections, capable of being attached together to form a shape configured to encompass a masonry oven core,
- wherein the sections are at least partly formed from mesh material capable of being rendered with mortar, and
- each section includes a plurality of securement holes distributed on their edges, so that when the sections are arranged to partially overlap, securement holes on adjacent sections coincide so as to be secured together by fixing elements extending through the coinciding securement holes of the adjacent sections.
