Abstract
Wireless communications using multiple active resources (e.g., bandwidth parts (BWPs)) are described. A wireless device may perform failure event detection, such as radio link monitoring (RLM) and/or beam failure detection (BFD), jointly or separately for multiple active resources (e.g., BWPs) based on one or more criteria.
Claims39
A method comprising:
- determining, by a wireless device, a first active bandwidth (BWP), of at least two active BWPs of a cell, for radio link monitoring, wherein the determining is based on a first downlink control channel configuration of the first active BWP;
- measuring, during a time period that the first active BWP and at least one other BWP of the cell are active, one or more reference signals associated with the first active BWP;
- determining, based on the measuring, a radio link failure for the cell;
- and
- sending, based on the radio link failure for the cell, at least one message associated with connection re-establishment.
A wireless device comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:
- determine a first active bandwidth (BWP), of at least two active BWPs of a cell, for radio link monitoring, wherein determining is based on a first downlink control channel configuration of the first active BWP;
- measure, during a time period that the first active BWP and at least one other BWP of the cell are active, one or more reference signals associated with the first active BWP;
- determine, based on measuring, a radio link failure for the cell;
- and
- send, based on the radio link failure for the cell, at least one message associated with connection re-establishment.
A method comprising:
- determining, by a wireless device, a first active bandwidth part (BWP), of at least two active BWPs of a cell, for radio link monitoring, wherein the determining is based on a radio interface type associated with the first active BWP;
- measuring, during a time period that the first active BWP and at least one other BWP are active, one or more reference signals associated with the first active BWP;
- determining, based on the measuring, a radio link failure for the cell;
- and
- sending, based on the radio link failure for the cell, at least one message associated with connection re-establishment.
A wireless device comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:
- determine a first active bandwidth part (BWP), of at least two active BWPs of a cell, for radio link monitoring, wherein the determining is based on a radio interface type associated with the first active BWP;
- measure, during a time period that the first active BWP and at least one other BWP are active, one or more reference signals associated with the first active BWP;
- determine, based on the measuring, a radio link failure for the cell;
- and
- send, based on the radio link failure for the cell, at least one message associated with connection re-establishment.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions that, when executed, configure a wireless device to:
- determine a first active bandwidth (BWP), of at least two active BWPs of a cell, for radio link monitoring, wherein determining is based on a first downlink control channel configuration of the first active BWP;
- measure, during a time period that the first active BWP and at least one other BWP of the cell are active, one or more reference signals associated with the first active BWP;
- determine, based on measuring, a radio link failure for the cell;
- and
- send, based on the radio link failure for the cell, at least one message associated with connection re-establishment.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions that, when executed, configure a wireless device to:
- determine a first active bandwidth part (BWP), of at least two active BWPs of a cell, for radio link monitoring, wherein the determining is based on a radio interface type associated with the first active BWP;
- measure, during a time period that the first active BWP and at least one other BWP are active, one or more reference signals associated with the first active BWP;
- determine, based on the measuring, a radio link failure for the cell;
- and
- send, based on the radio link failure for the cell, at least one message associated with connection re-establishment.
