Abstract
The invention describes method for delivering and positioning radio-isotopes. The method uses encapsulating free flowing medicament into a leak proof vehicle and positioning the vehicle into the body. Also provided is a system for delivering and positioning radio-isotopes into the body, the system comprising fluid radio-isotope encapsulated in a leak proof material and/or absorbable material.

A method for delivering and positioning radio-isotopes into a body, the method comprising:
- a) encapsulating free flowing fluid radio-isotope into separate, semi rigid elongated leak proof vehicles;
- b) positioning the vehicles into the body such that the vehicles are arranged to form a circle;
- c) positioning a deflated balloon at the center of the circle;
- and
- d) inflating the balloon to bias the vehicles in a radial direction.

A system for delivering and positioning radio-isotopes into a patient's body, the system comprising:
- a) a free-flowing fluid radio-isotope encapsulated in elongated semi rigid leak proof substrates wherein the elongated leak proof substrates are arranged in a circle;
- and
- b) a deflated balloon placed at the center of the circle and adapted to radially bias the substrates when said balloon is inflated.
