Secure processing of an authorization verification request

A system comprising:

• a certification entity including a hardware processor configured for issuing a proof of authorization and providing the proof of authorization to a client, and
• a decentralized registration entity including a processor configured for:
• checking transactions of a blockchain for a transaction including a proof of authorization request related to the decentralized registration entity and/or to the certification entity,
• securely processing the proof of authorization request, checking a blockchain data structure and the transaction including the proof of authorization request, wherein checking includes verifying a blockchain length and/or verifying subsequent blocks in the blockchain, and
• forwarding the proof of authorization request to the certification entity in the event of a successful check,
• wherein at least one of the decentralized registration entity and the certification entity are configured to form an issuance transaction of the issuance of the proof of authorization, such that the issuance transaction inserted into the blockchain data structure on the basis of the issued proof of authorization.

An apparatus comprising:

• a decentralized registration entity including a hardware processor, wherein the decentralized registration entity is configured to:
• check transactions of a blockchain for a transaction including a proof of authorization request related to the decentralized registration entity and/or to a certification entity associated with the decentralized registration entity,
• securely process the proof of authorization request, wherein processing includes checking a blockchain data structure and the transaction including the proof of authorization request, wherein checking includes verifying a blockchain length and/or verifying subsequent blocks in the blockchain, and
• forwarding the proof of authorization request to the certification entity in the event of a successful check,
• wherein the certification entity is configured to issue a proof of authorization, and
• wherein at least one of the decentralized registration entity and the certification entity are configured to form an issuance transaction of the issuance of the proof of authorization, such that the issuance transaction is inserted into the blockchain data structure on the basis of the issued proof of authorization.
