Abstract
An electronic device and method for wireless communication, the method including detecting a beam quality of a currently serving beam; starting a prediction window when the detected beam quality is within a particular range, and evaluating the beam quality of the currently serving beam within the prediction window.

An electronic apparatus for wireless communications, comprising:
- processing circuitry, configured to:
- detect beam quality of a currently serving beam;
- and
- start a prediction window when the detected beam quality is within a particular range, and
- evaluate the beam quality of the currently serving beam within the prediction window.

- determine, based on information about a tail window contained in a beam failure recovery request response from a base station, a size of the tail window to be opened;
