Solid oxide fuel cell and electrochemical cell

A solid oxide fuel cell including unit cells, comprising:

• a pair of interconnectors for electrically connecting the unit cells;
• a membrane-electrode assembly including an electrolyte membrane and a pair of electrode layers disposed with the electrolyte membrane therebetween;
• a pair of current collectors disposed between the electrode layers and the interconnectors so as to be in contact with the pair of electrode layers and the pair of interconnectors, respectively, and electrically connecting the pair of electrode layers and the pair of interconnectors;
• and
• elastic bodies biasing at least one current collector of the pair of current collectors toward a corresponding electrode layer and made of austenitic stainless steel,
• wherein each of the elastic bodies includes a base material and a protruding portion, the protruding portion of the elastic bodies includes a U-shaped cut part in plane view and an uncut part, and the cut part is bent at the uncut part connecting with the elastic body base material and rising the cut part from the elastic body base material, the cut part including two bent parts including a first bent part connected to the elastic body base material and bent relative to the elastic body base material, and a second bent part formed by further bending the first bent part,
• each of the pair of current collectors includes a current collector base material and a plurality of current collector protruding portions, a gap is formed between the current collector base material and each of the plurality of current collector protruding portions, and
• each of the elastic bodies is inserted into the gap formed between the current collector base material and each of the plurality of current collector protruding portions.
