Generating search commands based on field-value pair selections

A computer-implemented system, comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• one or more computer-readable media storing instructions thereon that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
• receiving, at a computing device, first input corresponding to a first selection of a portion of a field-value pair from an event in a display of a set of events in a search interface, the field-value pair including a field name and a value for the field;
• causing, in response to the first input, display of selectable search options;
• receiving second input corresponding to a second selection of a search option of the selectable search options;
• and
• causing, in response to the second input, display of a search command that is generated based on the search option operating on the field name or the value of the field-value pair of the event.

One or more computer-readable, non-volatile storage memory comprising stored instructions that are executable and, responsive to execution by a computing device, cause the computing device to perform actions comprising:

• receiving, at a computing device, first input corresponding to a first selection of a portion of a field-value pair from an event in a display of a set of events in a search interface, the field-value pair including a field name and a value for the field;
• causing, in response to the first input, display of selectable search options;
• receiving second input corresponding to a second selection of a search option of the selectable search options;
• and
• causing, in response to the second input, display of a search command that is generated based on the search option operating on the field name or the value of the field-value pair of the event.
