Numerical control apparatus

A numerical control apparatus comprising:

• a first storage to store a basic function processing object that is an execution object obtained by compiling basic function processing for executing a basic function on a control target, and a machining program that is used to control the control target;
• and
• a processor to load the basic function processing object and an additional function processing object that is an execution object obtained by compiling additional function processing of executing an additional function on the control target, and develop the basic function processing corresponding to the basic function processing object and the additional function processing corresponding to the additional function processing object on a second storage, wherein
• the basic function processing object is an object that reads and analyzes the machining program to output an analysis result as a command for the control target,
• the additional function processing object is an object that is able to incorporate the additional function without changing or recompiling the basic function processing object,
• the basic function processing object includes an identifier for identifying the additional function processing, and
• the processor develops the machining program on the second storage, accesses a location on the second storage corresponding to the identifier when there is a command to execute processing corresponding to the identifier during execution of the machining program, and executes the additional function processing corresponding to the identifier during execution of the machining program.
