Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for in vitro diagnosis or prognosis of colon cancer, including a step of detecting at least one expression product of at least one HERV nucleic acid sequence, the use of said isolated nucleic acid sequences as a molecular marker/molecular markers, and a kit including at least one specific binding partner for at least one expression product of the HERV nucleic acid sequences.
Claims16
A method for detecting RNA transcripts, comprising:
- obtaining a biological sample that is collected from a human patient suspected of having colon cancer;
- and
- detecting, in the biological sample, the presence or absence of at least two RNA transcripts comprising a first RNA transcript expressed by a first nucleic acid sequence having at least 99% identity with SEQ ID NO:
- 2, and a second RNA transcript expressed by a second nucleic acid sequence having at least 99% identity with SEQ ID NO:
- 3.
