Claims13
A method of treating psoriasis in a patient comprising:
- (1) a step of identifying a patient having elevated levels of one or more selected from the group consisting of IL-2, IL-15, IL-17, and TNF-α;
- and
- (2) a step of treating the patient by administering to the patient in need thereof a therapeutically effective dose Cefazolin or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof or pharmaceutically acceptable composition thereof wherein the pharmaceutically acceptable compositions comprise a therapeutically effective dose of Cefazolin or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient, carrier or diluent.
A method of reducing the amount of IL-15 and/or IL-2 in a patient having psoriasis comprising:
- (1) a step of identifying a patient having elevated levels of one or more selected from the group consisting of IL-2 and IL-15:
- and
- (2) a step of treating the patient by administering to the patient in need thereof a therapeutically effective dose of Cefazolin or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof or pharmaceutically acceptable compositions thereof wherein the pharmaceutically acceptable compositions comprise a therapeutically effective dose of Cefazolin or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient, carrier or diluent.
A method for reducing synthesis of TNF-α and/or IL-17 in a patient having psoriasis comprising:
- (1) a step of identifying a patient having elevated levels of one or more selected from the group consisting of IL-17 and TNF-α;
- and
- (2) a step of treating the patient by parenterally administering to the patient in need thereof a therapeutically effective dose of Cefazolin or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof or pharmaceutically acceptable compositions thereof wherein the pharmaceutically acceptable compositions comprise a therapeutically effective dose of Cefazolin or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient, carrier or diluent.
A method for preventing overproduction of IL-15 and/or IL-2 in a patient having psoriasis comprising:
- (1) a step of identifying a patient having psoriasis associated with overproduction of one or more selected from the group consisting of IL-2 and IL-15;
- and
- (2) a step of treating the patient by administering to the patient in need thereof a therapeutically effective dose of Cefazolin or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof or pharmaceutically acceptable compositions thereof wherein the pharmaceutically acceptable compositions comprise a therapeutically effective dose of Cefazolin or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient, carrier or diluent.
