Abstract
The subject invention provides a solid unit dosage form comprising pridopidine or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable excipient, wherein the dosage form has a volume and wherein the ratio of the amount of pridopidine to the volume of the dosage form is 135-600 mg/ml.

A solid unit high dose immediate release dosage form comprising pridopidine and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable excipient and a disintegrant;
- wherein the disintegrant is a superdisintegrant selected from the group consisting of:
- croscarmellose sodium, crospovidone, and polacrilin potassium;
- wherein the disintegrant is present in an amount of about 1% to 10% by weight of the solid unit dosage form;
- wherein the dosage form has a volume and wherein the amount of pridopidine of the dosage form is 135-600 mg per ml of volume of the dosage form and wherein 80-100% of the pridopidine is released within 30 minutes as measured using a USP#2 dissolution apparatus.
